As a Certified Hotel Administrator and charter member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, CHARLES has held senior management positions with HYATT, HILTON, OUTRIGGER, AMAN/L’ERMITAGE, and MILLENNIUM HOTELS. A Cornell-at-Hyatt alumnus, he also earned top honors “Con Lode” from the International School of Tourism Science in Rome, representing 46 countries.
He has opened flagship properties worldwide, including HYATT REGENCY SEOUL, and received HILTON’S QA RANK #1 for the Americas in 2009 with a 99.2% excellence score. His experience encompasses both tangible and digital ecosystems of global development.
Global Leadership & Achievements
Since 2018, CHARLES has served as GLOBAL CHAIRMAN of the 3,000-acre ORIENTAL PEARL SMART RESORT in Vientiane, Laos. He is also a GOVERNOR of the SPACE TOURISM SOCIETY, merging innovation and exploration. In 2023, he launched the “O2O: OCEAN TO ORBIT” model — integrating Marine Bio Cluster and smart technology infrastructure. These initiatives culminated in his founding of STAR ONE GROUP in 2025, bringing together world-class partners to lead in regenerative, technology-driven development.
